Several days after the blog awards and they are still appearing everywhere!
If you were at the Irish Blog Awards and wondered where these came from or what they meant, then I’m to blame. WWMD stands for “What Would Mulley Do” – a reference to Damien Mulley, the king of Irish bloggers.
The abbreviation and phrase comes from WWJD (What Would Jesus Do), a phrase that became popular in the United States in the 1890s as a personal motto for thousands of Christians.
I wanted to have something to make Damien smile at the Awards, he does so much work for them and it can be stressful, and when I heard Conor O’Neill use this phrase on Twitter I knew it would be perfect!
I was wondering what happened with those in the end! Any more? How about sticking them all around the base of the Spire? Heh heh…

I found one sheet when I emptied all pockets and bags after the awards, I gave the rest of the spares to Damien for himself!

I though you got it from weapons of mass destruction WMD and added an extra W, but i’m thick!

Roy, I was worried people would think that!

That and my Rick O’ Shea Fluphy badge are now in safe keeping with the original fluffy badge itself. I was seen as a secret source of them at the awards for some reason!

Forgot to take off the sticker you put on me at the awards, and I toddled off to a date. Trying to explain that my internet friend had stuck it on me, and that it was a kind of homage to another internet friend raised an eyebrow….

Darragh – I think a lot of people were wondering who was to blame for them!
@stretchneil – bizarrely that reminds me of our P45 days – Sleepy & Don’s wedding was funny – trying to explain to people how we knew them and why we kept calling them by different names!!!

Geek that I am, I thought it was reference to What Would Seth Godin Do – which is a plugin for wordpress, sigh…

I’m with Alan on in my geekiness – cause I know Damien uses that plugin!
Nice one Elly – well done!
