Will you be carving pumpkins this year? George & I did last year (although his idea of doing his with a Dremel was not a good idea!) and we had great fun at it.
In case you feel like it, here’s a few ideas to get you inspired!
Mad ramblings whenever I feel like it….

Too cool Elly! I always do the old pumpkin carve (despite being allergic to pumpkins and having to wear gloves!) Can you get the kits here? I think last year we downloaded some patterns. I had a wicked witch flying on a broom across the moon. It was cool!
Nothing like a plain old jack-o-lantern either.

Amazing stuff Elly, but I am lucky if I can carve a traditional grinning jack o lantern without cutting myself in the hand. I love the last one, so intricate.

Deborah, I saw pumpkin carving kits in Tesco last year, we’re getting more American. But the best ones I saw were in the US of course – could one of your friends/family not post you one over?
emmak – there are tons of templates available online, just search for ‘pumpkin carving templates’ – I think I used Google image search last year. They make the carving so much easier – well except for the last one in the pictures, that would take some serious artistic skill!!
